Founder's Goal
Founder's Goal
The African American Economic Recovery Think Tank, LLC's core mission is to facilitate and nurture progressive critical thinking leadership in the African American community. As a proactive, open-minded think tank team, the AAERTT understands urban core business corridors, teaches and develops civic and social engagement coalitions and initiatives, and invests in and stabilizes urban core communities.
The AAERTT has a solid plan for redeveloping vital urban communities. A holistic approach to creating sustainability growth with affordable multi-income homes, apartments, public and private charter schools (pre-K through the sixth grades), neighborhood social-historical events, and environmentally safe parks by controlling and increasing individual and community wealth.
We have developed business tools to inspire, educate, and create entrepreneurship through community cooperatives and stabilization plans for re-occupying abandoned homes, businesses, and investment clubs and teaching marketing and customer service skills.

"Every great movement started as we have started. Do not feel discouraged because in our few months of life we have not rivaled some long established Co-Operative venture. Each successful Co-Operative enterprise has taken much time and energy and sacrifice to establish. Nothing worth accomplishing is ever achieved without WORK. —Baker (1931d, 2)"
